Transferring from UAH where I pursued aerospace engineering for a year
Heavily involved in aerospace activities/clubs
The main essay was alright I think but I thought it was generic. It was Cornell specific and I did spend a lot of time on it but I didn’t feel like it was unique at all. I mentioned specific areas of Cornell’s Econ program that would be beneficial as well as unrelated organizations I would be interested in.
And for those still waiting on a decision: My financial aid said initiated until sometime today… I don’t know when, but it said initiated last night. IF IT DOESN’T SAY ORDERED IT IS NOT A GUARANTEED REJECTION.
Edit: I should add, I didn’t think my recommendations would be good at all. I didn’t really have a strong connection to any professor besides having good attendance, good grades, and a few office hours visits. They had nothing bad to say but I can’t imagine they had a lot to say either.
