Unfortunate Google Searches

For example, my least fortunate google search was when I searched "Deep Throat" once to study a little bit more about the Watergate Scandal (Deep Throat was the informant).

You can imagine the results I got.

I know other people that google image seached "catapault" while doing Middle School projects about the Middle Ages and got some not school appropriate images

They're funny, but they make you immediately feel like you have to cover up your browser history

The local news channel around me is Channel 69. In eighth grade we had to do something on the computer that involved going to their website (which does not have the obvious URL). I don't think I need to finish the story.

Years ago when S2 was in grade school, he was doing a research project on "black holes in space." His 4th grade teacher was horrified at what came up on the school's computer when he did a google search. Someone had some 'splaining to do with the principal!

My dad went online to buy soccer pinnies from Dick's Sporting Goods. For future reference, be sure to type the store's FULL name in the URL, not just "Dick's". You can imagine how that one turned out.

I was trying to find two girls holding a cup, but what I got was something that blew my mind!

Um, the only way to get a lot of inappropriate results on google is if you have safesearch off.

Also, "catapult" doesn't turn up any dirty images even with safesearch off. So... what does that mean?

When I was young (like 6 or 7), my brother made me google "xxx" on the library computer and click on "I'm Feeling Lucky". Needless to say, a bunch porn popped up and froze the computer and he just RAN away.

I was banned from the library :(. I couldn't even explain myself to the librarian - she just made me leave.

When search engines first came out my sister told me to use "Dogpile". I was about 9 and I heard "Doggy style". I had no idea what was going on!

I was surprised when I googled searched "squishy chest" the other day and nothing dirty popped up.
