Which is the better school for someone who doesn’t know what their major, or career plans are?

MSU. Overall, MSU has many more higher ranked programs than U of M- Dearborn.

Also- I know a lot of people who just flat out don’t like being at Dearborn. Most of my friends transferred out after a year.

What are you looking for specifically? You asked a pretty broad question.

MSU is better overall - a ton more options for majors. Also, U of M Dearborn is very much a commuter school. Not a very good atmosphere in terms of school, although I’m sure the education is decent/good

I would think that MSU >>>>>> Dearborn

I also think MSU over UM-Dearborn. Better reputation, more programs & classes.

I’ve heard U of M Dearborn is worse than MSU. However, you’ll probably be able to mislead some people by saying, “Yeah, I went to Michigan”
