I hope the TOS will permit me to express my gratitude for @doschicos 's tremendous efforts to keep us informed over the past weeks - I cannot imagine how much time and energy it required, but you performed a very valuable service for all of us. Keep safe and get some rest!
I couldn’t agree more and didn’t know how to express it. Appreciate your starting this thread!
And if you can, share links to places with the info as some of us still want to be kept informed and it can no longer happen here…
I know about:
https://covidtracking.com/data
And:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries
I’m interested in ones that share testing successes (and failures) and other hopeful things going on from the medical world.
I feel such a loss. I felt as if you were a trusted friend where I could get great factual information. Thank you.
Agree - thanks @doschicos.
I didn’t read the all of the posts, but would “check in” occasionally because I felt it was factual, trustworthy information.
Iirc, @TatinG actually started the thread way back in January. So, thank you @TatinG and thanks to @doschicos for collating all the data info etc.
I had to stop reading it about 2 weeks ago because it was making me to anxious, but I did sneak peaks a few times
I so appreciate all the curating and consolidation @doschicos did for us. It was a great source of trusted information over the past few weeks during this crisis. Miss that thread!
For me the thread was an incredibly useful digest of all the information whirling about and I applaud @doschicos for her energy in keeping up with all of it. Get some rest now!
Thank you so much DosChicos (who has been heroic) and all others who contributed to that thread.
Isn’t there some way that a thread can be closed to posts by anyone *other than * @doschicos ? Like maybe give her moderator power to lock and unlock her own thread just to post periodic COVID-19 news updates minus the personal commentary? I don’t know if the software allows anything like that but it’s just a suggestion.
Thank you so much for all you did in posting on that long thread. So helpful to me.
@emilybee I meant to thank @tkoparent for starting the thank you thread.
