<p>That confirmed my own experience - Villanova offered the worst aid of all of the schools where my kids considered. According to those numbers, they don’t increase aid if a middle income family has a second kid in college at the same time.</p>

<p>Very helpful. I do wish they hadn’t run kinds with Harvard/Stanford level stats, however.</p>

<p>It’s amazing to me that any merit aid is available to the family that has significant income and equity (the last example in the scenarios). Fascinating stuff. We didn’t apply for any FAid, so I have no personal knowledge–tried for FAid for private HS and were told we didn’t qualify then, so never bothered to check for college–fortunately salary had risen by then.</p>
