I received mail telling me that I had been recommended for admissions into the Film School at UNCSA. The way the letter was written, it almost seemed as if this was confirmation that I had been accepted, though I know they still need to review grades.
Does anyone know if most people that receive this letter get accepted?
Sometimes that means that, I would look at it as yes because they have to say yes in order for your file to then go to get reviewed by admissions; grades,recommendations, etc. So I think its a good sign. Best of luck!
hi since you got that mail have you been accepted? Have you heard anything else from UNCSA? Do you know when they are supposed to tell you....my daughter was in the first round of interviews on January 9th. Would love to hear any info you can provide
Has anyone gotten final acceptance to film at uncsa for fall 2010? My d received notice she has been "recommended for acceptance" but that was almost three weeks ago and has heard nothing yet.

I was in the first round of interviews on January 9th as well! I think they will probably start sending out official notifications soon, since the last round of interviews ended over the weekend.

I got a phone call a few weeks ago saying that I had been recommended and then got another email a few days ago saying the same thing. In the email it said that they would email or call once the final decision had been made.
still waiting for FINAL CONFIRMATION...anyone hear from UNCSA after the "recommended for admission" email?

wow I thought my d would hear something by today. I guess if no one has heard after the "recommended for acceptance" we are all in the same boat. I promise to let you know as soon as she hears anything.....I assume you haven't heard or you would have posted...correct?
