Yale vs stanford vs nu vs dartmouth

Hello! Currently, I’m applying to about 11 schools and i need to cut down my list…(and save money). Can you guys help me decide which school is best for me? Right now, my list is: YALE, STANFORD, NORTHWESTERN, RICE, PRINCETON, HARVARD, VANDERBILT, DARTMOUTH (feel free to recommend more) and some state (Florida) schools. I’ve already applied to Yale EA. I’m definitely applying to Rice (its free! :D). Here’s what I’m looking for:

FINANCIAL AID!!! preferebly a NO LOAN policy. Which school provides the best FA for a student in a big family with an income between 100k and 200k??

A dynamic, FUN, “artsy,” extremely open minded, kinda quirky, student body. Kids that LOVE to learn…not just make money

Engineering/Neuroscience/Art

SMALL SMALL SMALL teacher/student ratio

A synergy between Art and Science

Thank you!!! :D

Define big family - Are there any kids in college at the moment? If not, any FA totally depends on where the actual number is. The closer to 200k, the more it disappears completely. OTOH, Rice and Vanderbilt do have some partial merit tuition scholarships.

None of them are profit oriented and so it is an unreasonable question to ask.

For Engineering, I go in this order - Stanford, Princeton, Rice, Northwestern and everyone else.

Depends on the major.

If you get in, you can ask again.
