Reflection
Strengths: Test scores, Essays
Weaknesses: ECs
Why you think you were accepted: Good test scores, demonstrated tons of interest, double legacy, rigorous course load with a solid GPA at a top 50 boarding school
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: rather not say
General Comments: A lack of significant EC’s and leadership can be crippling in the college process for everyone reading this. At the same time though, don’t just go around “resume padding.” Find something you like to do, and be exemplary at it. For me it was writing, but I still lacked leadership. It just depends on the person. I did what I felt happy and comfortable doing, but in hindsight it would be great to have my EC’s be a boost for my grades and test scores, instead of being somewhat underwhelming.
