My Daughter is hearing next week…so hopefully soon!

Came here to post that S24 received an email today stating EA decisions will be released next week:

Though our review of applications for admission to the Providence College Class of 2028 continues, we do know that the release of Early Action admission decisions will take place early next week. Upon release, all applicants will receive an email. We are unable to share decisions in advance of them being posted on the portal

Bit surprised they are not releasing on the 15th like several schools. My son will just have to wait a few extra days.

Portal was updated. Daughter was deferred unfortunately but still hopeful. Most likely switching to ED2.

Daughter was also deferred to regular decision.

Daughter was also deferred… TO, 3.7 uw… applied as business management major … but we were not able to visit or interview … from GA… think the interview was the missing piece.

My daughter was accepted. Got 23k merit. Was hoping for more. Got 28.5 from Fairfield and was invited into honors program there.

Interesting, daughter received 23k merit from Fairfield … we were able to visit and had an interview.

Daughter was deferred as well.

Son was deferred to RD. Applied TO, wtd gpa 4.8, UW 3.2. He is ok with this as he has merit packages and acceptances from other schools but he is going to try ED2 to another Catholic college for this last round.

My son was admitted EA but no merit money so will likely have to come off the list. We received more generous offers from Marist, Fairfield, Scranton and Siena.

Same with us! Looking at perhaps ED II to Fairfield or maybe Syracuse - good luck to all!!

Same here. Son was accepted but no merit aid. He got merit aid everywhere else. It’s definitely off his list now
