NJ Catholic HS son accepted yesterday with 24K -year scholarship. 33 ACT. 4.0 GPA. So thrilled. Job. Lots of athletics and community service. Also got accepted to Rice same day so son will go to Rice. It was his ED and is better fit for him. Daughter is a sophomore at TCU. We are all beyond in love with TCU. It is a wonderful school with amazing alumni and student body. Congratulations to those who got yeses yesterday. To those who did not, keep trying it is worth it. If it doesn’t work out, your best match is waiting for you. I’m a Longhorn but can tell you, UT was the place for me but TCU is a special place and it really is the best place for my daughter. The kids at TCU are very happy, smart, kind, and just generally great people!
