My guess based on looking at last year would be next Sat Dec 9th or Sun Dec 10th.

Did anything change on your applicants common app?
Friday they added a section for mid year grades to be added in Feb. Wonder if this might be a sign of deferred.
Best of luck !!

My D has the same section for mid year grades. I don’t think it’s a sign - it’s pretty common for schools to want to see whether the student is maintaining their grades through at least the first half of the year.

can you tell me where this was posted?

This was on Instagram.

Any Wes ED2 folks out there? Or is there another thread for that I’m having trouble finding one?

Correct thread! ~3 weeks to go. Only unknowns:

  • exact date/time they will announce for “Mid February”, Feb 17 if they pick a Saturday as in ED1
  • whether ED2 admit rate will be as high as last year

Oh ok, thank you! i thought it might be Sat 2/10 as I believe I read last year (on their blog maybe?) was 2/12?

Do we know what their admit rate was for ED1?

Yes, Sat. Feb 10 is the likely date based on last year.

A friend’s kid was admitted ED1; the letter they sent to counselors said there was a 20% increase in apps over last year. But no way to know whether that will carry through to ED2, which is a pretty unpredictable round because of so many other factors.

They seem to admit a pretty consistent number of kids through ED, about 450-475. They admittted about 350 (including QB) in ED 1 (again, using info from the counselor letter + social media re: QB). So I would guess there will be 110-125 admits in ED2.

Good luck to all!

Thanks for this info! Glad you agree that that is a probable date based on last year…

Sorry but what does QB stand for?
