How to take APWH notes?

I don't know how to take notes in this class. I heard about outlining but how do I talk about themes if I only write down main ideas?? Please tell me how to take notes and your own method. Ty

    Heyo. So in WHAP (APWH) what my class did was a "SPICE" chart. Every chapter you basically wrote down notes for changes in:

    ~ Social (Changes in social roles, social rankings, that type of stuff),
    ~ Political (government, regions, etc),
    ~ Interactions (Human interaction with the Earth, farms, forts, burial grounds, any changes to natural landscape),
    ~ Culture (clothing, food, ideas, religion),
    ~ and Economic (taxes, trade, et
