What are my options for a lower-level transfer from CCC to four-year?

My original plan was to transfer to a UC or CSU with an Associate's Degree covering my major requirements (My major is English). The problem is, I passed six AP tests in high school so I'm two quarters ahead of everyone else in their first year. And since I only need two more classes for IGETC and my college only offers six classes that transfer for my major requirements, I would be taking 1-2 classes per quarter over the next 5 quarters.
It would make more sense to transfer to a four-year in Fall 2016 or Winter 2017 as a Sophomore and begin on my major requirements and minor electives. I know UCs and CSUs don't offer lower-level transfer and their deadlines have passed anyway so I'd have to try a private or out-of-state university. I'm looking into Santa Clara University but are there any other California universities that I can still apply to for Fall 2016 or Winter 2017?
