student-faculty ratio 8:1 ; 69% of classes have fewer than 30 students; 52% of classes have fewer than 20 (compare that to OSU, or Cornell for that matter)

single admission allows access to any program; can dual major in any combination of programs; can get BS/MS in 5 years in almost any program

    3300 undergraduates, 6000 graduate students

campus located in a cultural center (museum of art, Cleveland orchestra, botanical gardens, other museums, art institute, music conservatory) and large hospitals complex

main library (Smith) is new and state of the art

students get free public trans. passes; rapid transit stop on campus goes to the airport

    College Prow ler guide ratings:

A+ computers (network access, computer & labs technology avail)

A- off campus dining (includes Coventry & Little Italy; says many restaurants deliver to the dorm rooms)

A- drug scene (means not a noticeable part of camps life)

    B+ academics
    B+ facilities
    B+ campus housing
    B+ off campus housing

College P rowler says 10 best things about Case:
    1. Location
    2. fiber optic gigabit ethernet network
    3. UPB events
    4. residence hall life
    5. abundant research opportunities for undergrads
    6. the film society
    7. financial aid and scholarships
    8. excellent academic preparation for the real world
    9. you can reach anyone on campus at night via AIL or email
    10. student diversity

Just to clear up one point...at the beginning of each semester each student must buy a bus/train pass for $25. That pass lets the student ride the train/bus system throughout the Cleveland area for free. It is still a great deal when you consider the expense of maintaining a car...but it is not "free".
