I just got rejected from my top choice. I literally worked so hard my junior year to get my grades from C's up to B's. How do you get over getting rejected

It's normal to be disappointed. Let it go. Look ahead to new opportunities. Something better is coming. Your hard work prepares you for a new adventure.

Ice cream works for me 🍦. The top choice is not always the best choice. Thrive were you will be and prove them wrong.

When were you rejected? Most decisions came out months ago. If you've been feeling that bad for that long, talk to someone about it. Honestly, like is full of rejection. You aren't going to get every job or promotion you apply for, for example. It is part of developing resilience and grit.

Choose to love the college that did accept you, even if that is your local community college. Do your best work and trust that when you do, even better opportunities open up. Many students are rejected from their first choice only to find it happened for a reason, and they end up blooming where they're planted, happy and thriving.

I feel like rejection is part of life, sometimes you have to fail in order to bounce back and to see the brighter side.
