Major of study

As a student who is interested in data science, AI/ML, mathematics, programming, and app development, which is the right major for me?

Computer science and applied mathematics?
Or
Just Computer science?

Most have suggested me Csc and Applied math since I will require a lot of math. But others have advised saying take Csc since there is enough math in Csc.

If you're interested in data science, then computer science and applied math is probably the best choice - you'll need an understanding of both to do data science.

For app development, you don't really need the additional math, although it'd be helpful. AI/ML...that really depends on the kind of work you do, but the applied math will be really helpful especially with the ML.

So, you'd probably want to do the applied math/comp sci combination.
