Pratt Institute hard to get in

<p>is Pratt Institute hard to get in to for the architecture and does it matter that I already have a bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design?</p>

<p>In general, Pratt isn’t an incredibly difficult school to get into, but architecture is actually one of their more competitive majors, from what I recall. (I visited several times and applied, but not for architecture). Having a degree already should really only count against you in federal financial aid, though.</p>

<p>Also, even if you’ve already visited the campus, it’ll help to get out there for the open portfolio review:</p>

<p>Pratt has a large table there, and you’ll be able to walk around campus, meet faculty, and get reviews from a lot of other schools if you should so desire. They actually have been known to accept people at the review, too. Hope that was helpful and not too rambling. :)</p>
