Is 3 years of Spanish a disadvantage?

I took 3 years of Spanish freshman through junior year? Am I at a disadvantage to elite colleges? I took AP last year.

Completing AP counts as completing level 4. For foreign languages, for almost all colleges, competing level 4 equates to 4 years of study. You’re fine.

If AP is the highest level available at your school, you’ve done the maximum and will be at no disadvantage whatsoever.

Even if there are post-AP Spanish classes available, you will have done what was asked, and will not be disadvantaged, IMO.
