How will you spend Ivy Day 2019? How will you open your decisions?

Hi Everyone!

Thought it would be interesting to hear how people will spend the much anticipated ivy day and how they will open their decisions.
Will you spend the day obsessing over your fav school? Relaxing with friends? Distracted with school?
Will you open your decisions with your family? Alone? With friends? Will you record it?

I made the either amazing or awful mistake of applying to all 8 ivies so I thought this would be a fun way to connect with people! Comment below!

I am on my spring break right now and a few friends and some of my family members will be traveling upstate to visit UF, as we all got in and will attend depending on Ivy Day decisions. So I not only have to open with my mom, but my closest friends as well, one of whom has already received a likely letter. I'm trying to keep positive but all I can think about is how much worse it'll be to be rejected as my friends are around me celebrating.
Truly hoping for the best. We could not have picked a worst time to go though.

I have a lot going on Thursday, so that'll definitely take my mind off the stress. I'll probably open my decisions alone, since the idea of having my family hovering around me while I open up (likely) rejections kind of scares me. I applied to 5 Ivies (Yale, Columbia, Brown, Harvard, and Dartmouth), and I'm planning to open the decisions in that order. I'm not too concerned if I get accepted to any, as I already have some great offers and my parents have made it clear that they would be thrilled if I even got waitlisted to an Ivy, but I do really like all the schools I applied to.

Good luck to all of you- we just have a few more days of waiting to go!

I'll be opening them at 4 ish am on Friday (since that's when they come out) and if I get five rejections (which is likely) I'm gonna skip school and have a pity party with my friends (talk about fun  ) and if there aren't five rejections, I won't have a party and I will attend school but I'll be more than thankful! I'm sure it'll turn out a good day for all of us regardless of the outcome. Do-nut worry!
