You are applying to a lot of schools! I'm not applying to too many, haha.

Your test scores make it very clear that you are very skilled in math. This goes hand in hand with your engineering plans.

Even though your reading/writing/English scores may not be up to par with your math scores, they are viewed contextually. If you haven't had significant contact with English all your life, that is taken into consideration.

Your extra-curriculars look great. It is nice that you taught children English; I would see this as initiative on your part to better your English skills while teaching others.

Nice chances! I'm speaking primarily with respect to Rice, by the way.

    Best of luck!

Is English not your first language? If not, how'd you do on the TOEFL.

I hope that you understand that a majority of these schools will not provide much, if any, financial aid, so I hope you are prepared financially to pay the full amount.

Indeed, how did you do on the TOEFL? Your SAT scores are not competitive for many of these schools, however your ACT scores are better, with the exception of the writing.

Good luck with your applications :-)

I'm hoping that the schools give more weight-age to my math scores as I'm applying for engineering.
English is what i speak at home but i was brought up speaking hindi/bengali. My TOEFL is next week :O i hope i manage a 100+ will that increase my chances?
yeah i know they aren't cheap but my college fund by gods grace will be able to handle it *phew*
