Counselor Recommendation

Hello. I wanted to know whether all colleges require letters of recommendation from college counselors or only a few colleges do. Thank you.

I think they all do.... A few might not teacher recs, but all need counseler recs.

Most of the top private ones do. Not so much for the state universities.

If you're applying CommonApp this year, almost all schools will require the school report, but there's an option that will allow the counselor to skip the narrative and simply give the school profile and the stats, something that significantly reduces the counselor's workload.

I don't think all colleges require a counselor recommendation. I'm pretty sure that a lot of state schools won't, but all private schools will.

Okay. Can I send in the counselor's recommendation letter even after the deadline has passed?
