Dealing with the siblings after the parents' death

A quick googling found this for scanning pictures:

I’ll join the club - Mom lived in our basement for 12 years. I recently cleaned out the basement so a friend of S could live with us after graduating college. I have numerous boxes in my living room and reading room. I took pictures of mom’s stuff so my sister (3,000 miles away) could ‘pick’ what she wanted. Then I had to mail all of the items. $200 later, she had the stuff. I still have tons of boxes… Of course my sister didn’t even think about offering to pay for postage. Oh well, I take great joy in knowing that I have all of mom’s quilts- finished, unfinished, beginning pieces…

OP, I vote you give a drop dead date, and then donate to a charity. Life is too short to be tied down by something like this. They had their chance. They will always find a reason to not help or an excuse for not doing anything.

Unfortunately, you have a conscience.

Good luck.
