    A site called Admissions Intel claims that 1073 are being accepted ED for a rate of 26%.

    With more applicants, schools are either filling the class earlier with EA/ED or bringing the admit rate down, and in many cases they are doing both!

    Northwestern received about 6 percent more Early Decision applications than last year, associate provost for University enrollment Michael Mills told The Daily in an email. As of Tuesday, NU had received a record number of 4,058 applications, Mills said.... Mills told The Daily that early applicants will fill about half of the Class of 2022, which is expected to total 1,925 students.

A record number of applicants — 1,916, which is a 19.5 percent increase over last year — applied to Rice through its binding Early Decision program.... Of the 371 admitted students, 165 are from the state of Texas and 165 are from other parts of the U.S., including one student each from the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico and Guam. International students represent 11 percent of the Early Decision admitted class.... Rice has long been a member of the QuestBridge Scholars program....Through this program, Rice was matched with 51 QuestBridge finalists who are counted as part of the Early Decision class.

    Middlebury College has offered 326 students early admission to the Class of 2022. The admitted students were chosen from a pool of 650 applicants and represent about 45 percent of a class that is expected to total about 715.... Of the students admitted, 23 percent are students of color. First-generation students, meaning those who are the first in their family to attend college, represent another 11 percent. The College deferred 39 applicants, who will be considered for regular admission in the spring, and denied admission to 285 students.

    Dartmouth admitted 565 students to the Class of 2022 from a record-high 2,270 early applicants. The admitted students represent 24.9 percent of applicants, down from last year’s early decision acceptance rate of 27.8 percent and the lowest rate since 2010. The admitted students will comprise about 47 percent of the incoming class, in line with last year. The early application pool was 13.5 percent larger than last year’s pool of 1,999 applicants. The number of early-admitted students is a slight increase from last year’s total of 555 students....Twenty-six students were admitted through the QuestBridge program....

    This year's Early Action applicant pool grew once again, up 7% from last year; this is a strong testament both to the Georgetown brand and the increasing popularity of Early Action. The Georgetown College applicant pool grew by 8%, the School of Foreign Service by 6%, and the School of Nursing and Health Studies by 24%; the McDonough School of Business applicant pool remained similar to last year. Given that our Regular Decision pool typically mirrors trends seen at Early Action, we anticipate an increase in total applications come January as well.

    The Early Action pool continued to reflect Georgetown's commitment to enrolling a diverse class. This year's pool was 10% Black/African-American, 11% Hispanic/Latino, 15% Asian-American, 7% International, and 1% Native American.

    The academic quality of the pool was as strong as ever, making admissions committee decisions immensely difficult. We admitted 12% (1,002) of the 8,383 applicants. Students were admitted from 49 of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and 39 foreign countries. Admitted students were, on average, in the top 2% of their class. The SAT Verbal middle-50% range for admitted students was 710-770, and the SAT Math middle-50% range was 720-790. The ACT has become increasingly popular, with more than half of our applicant pool taking the ACT. The ACT middle-50% range for admitted students was 32-35.

    @ Eck101 we can get a sense of the % of freshman class being filled from ED, based on the Enrollment of the 2021 class given below.

    Note that with changes in Yale (larger class), Chicago (new EA/ED1/ED2), there can be some movements from year to year. For obvious reasons, I have kept EA and ED schools separate.

    Figures are given in the format "Acceptances / Applications" for the class of 2022 followed by the class of 2021, with enrollment E for the class of 2021.

    Hello bronze2, if you are listing colleges' EA rates from lowest to highest, shouldn't Notre Dame fall between Duke and Dartmouth, or does the Congregation of the Holy Cross get some special consideration?
