ED at Boston University College of General Studies

Hey guys! I was just wondering if you apply ED to BU for the College of Arts and Sciences but also check the box to be considered for the College of General Studies is ED still binding if you don't get into your first choice school, so in my case CAS. Like if I get into CGS or the January London Program under ED is that still binding if my first choice school was CAS?? Let me know
