State, National and related AP Scholar awards being eliminated.

As we do our part to reduce the burden on students, the AP Program is discontinuing awards that encourage students to take large numbers of exams. Starting with the May 2020 AP Exam Administration, we will no longer distribute State AP Scholar, DoDEA AP Scholar, and International AP Scholar awards.
Starting with the May 2021 Exam Administration, we will no longer distribute National AP Scholar awards – including the awards for students in Canada and Bermuda.

Interesting that it has been crickets from the CB between July and now. I'm interested to know, although they will likely not say, why they are staggering.
