The probability of a human filling in the wrong bubble is much greater than an OMR machine mis-reading a correctly filled in bubble.
There have been many “it must be wrong, I’me sure I did better, I’m paying for hand-scoring” threads here over the years. I don’t recall ever seeing a “my score went up after re-scoring” thread.
