Roommate is constantly turning the lights off. Why???????
My roommate and I live in a dorm. I am a super busy person and like being productive throughout the day. I like keeping the lights on while I work. However, whenever my roommate walks into the room she turns the lights off (this is at like 6PM or earlier). I do not like working in the dark with only my desk lamp on because it makes everything harder to see and makes it feel like I'm about to go to bed when I really am going to be up for the next 5 hours doing work. We don't pay for electricity so the bill is not the issue. I do not understand why she always wants the lights off and I also do not know how to go about this issue. I always end up having to move to another room but it's my room too and I shouldn't have to leave it whenever she comes home.14 replies
