I find it intriguing that any high schooler can even reach differential equations and Post AP physics. Can you even take those classes at your HS?

That's quite nice of you to say, I just try my best to succeed. None of those classes are offered at my high school. In fact, my high school doesn't have quite that many opportunities and the most AP's any sophomore had taken before me was one as it is generally against their policy to allow underclassmen to take APs (they allowed me to take multiple AP's because I was the second person in the history of my district to qualify for an olympiad final). I'm taking the post AP level classes at the local community colleges and Stanford University.
I wasnt aiming that towards you. Im just ****ed because there are all these kids at school going around like, "Oh i am in this club and that. Just doing this club gets you a 5% better chance into Ivies. I dont care if I dont lke this club or that one, i am just doing it to get into college."
Just putting out there for people like that.
What specifically in math? Business clubs maybe. Do you have FBLA in your school? if not search it and bring it to your school.
If you like math, try looking at Princeton U courses.
Don't worry, I know where you are coming from. I tried starting an FLBA chapter at my school last year but was unable to secure an interested advisor. Well, I am taking math classes at Stanford U, Princeton would be impractical as its on the other side of the country.

How good are you at swimming? I'd assume you've already considered the possibility of recruitment for swimming in college, so it seems that you are not at Division-I level of ability, nor desire to swim in college (no offense intended with either conclusion.) If you are good enough and wish to, worrying about diverse interests is really unnecessary, since your athletic ability will guarantee you acceptance wherever you apply, especially when considering your academic achievement along with athletic ability.

It kind of does because I read articles about how people who were virtually president of everything, perfect grades, valedictorian, class president, and a few billion hours of volunteer work applied to Ivies and got rejected. But then there was this kid who wasnt really part of many clubs at all started his own photography business to support his family who got in.
And yet, this in no way demonstrates that having multiple "passions" hurts you in college admissions.

I actually have never considered that as an option. I've been swimming competitively since I was 6, so I'll definitely look into that.

How could multiple passions possibly be bad?
My counselor told me that having more than one passion was a huge drawback, and frankly I didn't agree with her, so I wanted to see if more people agreed with my opinion.
...as for this thread, I added value by voicing popular support for the view set forth by snickers412, and therefore in the process implying you have little to worry about (and therefore possibly saving you from the many possible health problems associated with stress, such as myocardial infarction).

Well, I plan on double majoring in aerospace engineering and physics, but I've read through thousands of pages regarding medicine, business, and computer programming. Then there's all those gigabytes worth of "how-to"s for automechanics and computer hardware, information on generating high-voltage electricity, and forums devoted to literary criticism.
Specialization is for insects. Grad students too, but that's redundant.
(I do plan on getting a Masters & PhD at some point in my life, so if the smiley didn't convince you that my intentions were harmless, hopefully this will).
