Cuba vrs. USA

I want to go to med school. After some investigation I have learned that cuba has an exelent program, however I am scared to became communist what should I do?

    you should go the states with fdel castro there, cuba is a disaster. Yu can go there when he dies!

    I am sorry but I think that you did not research this topic well enough. Cuba has done an excellent job in marketting their doctors abroad but that does not mean that they have excellent physicians. There are very limited resources and technology and the medical training their students have is rudimentary to say the least. For students from poor countries like in Africa and Latin America it is an option because they are not able to afford anything else.

    If you can not study in the US, the schools that have good connections with some american hospitals to do residencies, rotations, etc are either in Mexico or Dominican Republic. I would not consider anything else. As far as becoming a communist, do not worry about it. If you see how people live there you will realize that no one becomes "one" unless you are "forced" to.
