Not sure if supplemental recommendation ever made it.

I saw on the Harvard application tracking portal that there was no indication of whether my supplemental recommendation ever made it. I had it submitted through the Common App, but I guess there's always a chance it didn't properly go through even though it said that it did...

I know that some other schools on their portals will only list required items, so I'm hoping that would explain why my supplemental recommendation from the professor I worked with this summer doesn't show up, but if anyone knows for sure, that would be great.

When my kids applied four and five years ago, the portal only tracked the required elements of a student's file. Anything extra submitted was not tracked. I'm assuming it's the same thing today. You just have to assume that whatever extras you sent it made it.
