Engineering?

<p>This is probobly a dumb question as i really dont know much about northwestern but i was wondering how strong their engineering school is. ive heard by word of mouth that its ‘good’ but does anyone have any facts that attest to that? thanks</p>

<p>More than just “good”. Among the privates, only MIT, Stanford, Georgia Tech are better than Northwestern. Overall, it’s about the same as Cornell, Carniegie Mellon (CMU got much better computer/electrical but most others aren’t as highly ranked), and Johns Hopkins. Below are the US News 2006 ranking:</p>
