I am a Regular Decision applicant at Rice and I sent my parents' CSS profile on the tenth of January. The custodial parent's CSS profile was received to the school on the 14th of January, whereas the non-custodial parent's CSS profile is still written as "incomplete".

I have checked the College Board and it says that the non-custodial parent's profile was sent to Rice, but I am really concerned about why the document is not being checklisted.

The financial aid deadline is on March 1st and it feels like I wouldn't be considered in it if the document still remains incomplete. Do you think if I should notify the financial aid office about my problem or wait? Is it normal for non-custodial parent's CSS profile to be received at last? Anyone with the same issue as me?

Any advice will be sufficient! Thank you ^^

Call Rice financial aid asap to find out what is missing from the noncustodial parent CSS profile then work with your noncustodial parent to get it completed. Perhaps the profile is missing a tax form or something. You may be able to look on IDoc to see if that shows what is missing. Different schools want different things from the CSS. When my daughter applied, I had to upload some 1099 forms that Rice wanted but no other school required. The RD decisions will not come out until late March so you have time to get it completed.
