<p>When the admissions rep came to my school, she practically begged applicants to send in something other than an essay. They’ve been using the $10 question for something like 3 years now, and you can imagine how many “[coffee, tea, ice cream - insert food item here - ] with friends [and my friends are <em>so</em> important to me]” essays they’ve gotten. </p>
<p>I made a scrapbook… it worked, although my parents were shocked.</p>
