@Mommertons - I agree, it sounds fishy to me. This reminds me of the story of the kid who supposedly flew away in his parent’s flying device. The parents just wanted publicity and used their child to get it.
I think both parents are at fault too. I haven’t read an interview with the dad, only the one with the Mom where she just blames everyone else. I can’t fathom why they are allowing the child to be interviewed the way they are - it almost seems to be glorifying his behaviour. And if he has tried something like this before why on earth was his passport not somewhere secure. It’s all a bit odd really.
