12 yr old scored 1170 on SAT

you don’t think CTY is better based on the fact your son has never participated in it? Wired logic.
Your son must be a genius - got over 700 in both without prep at age 12? Hope he achieves a great deal, AT LEAST a nobel prize, when he is an adult.

^^ don’t know what’s up with the angry sarcasm, but to at least clarify facts, the dragonboy quote here says his son didn’t participate in CTY because he didn’t think it was better - you reversed the cause & effect in your reply…

herandhisMom: If you don’t like my post, you can ignore it. You don’t have to be angry or sour grape.

My point about CTY programs was base on what I have heard from many friends who sent kids to CTY camps. Again, this is my personal opinion and I have the right determining which camp is right for my kid.

The boy has his right to dislike CTY based on his friends’ comments even though he himself never bother to experience. Based on what I heard, CTY is a wonderful program and I will participate this year. I’m so looking forward to it. I feel sorry I didn’t know about it when I was in middle school.
