Steve Wozniak has uncut $2 bills perforated and bound into a pad. He tears them off the pad and uses them to pay for stuff just to mess with people.
Since there were 40 cases on the books I would guess there is a problem with counterfeit money that they are trying to track down rather than just trying to get back money on chicken tenders.
If there is a counterfeit operation in the area, I seriously doubt it’s been spearheaded by middle schoolers. Prosecuting them and ensuring they have records is a poor way to handle the issue.
Leave it to 14 year olds to waste time counterfeiting $2 bills. All that skill and hard work…could have made 10X if they would have just added a zero.
