Keep in mind though, that some students who are waitlisted elsewhere, primarily HYPS-type schools, will end up with a spot at other schools, bringing down the number of matriculated students at UChi. I don’t know if as many as 100 will end up elsewhere, but I do know that the number you calculated will certainly not be the true number of students who will ultimately enroll. So keep your head up! My waitlisted student got in, and it’s not over until September 29.</p>
