15 British sailors detained by Iran...

You don’t need a resume, or havn’t ever created one?

Of course your experience in life is pertinenant to the issue at hand because just as we discuss what the Brits may have done wrong, you defend their actions, both equally polarizing opinions, I fail to see how your ‘side’ doesn’t need to explain itself.

As for your “evidence”, you are aware that the Navy uses ships, the big steel things that float in water, and are aware that they may have some difficulty in moving across the desert. Points USNA69 made earlier about how dangerous the Navy can be are absolutely correct, however when fighting a war in one of the more dry climates on earth the Navy proper will not see much action. I beg you argue that point with the tens of thousands of other sailors who have died in some of the most important and decisive battles in history.

It may just be me, but I somehow am getting the feeling that dadvet and fusion may not be who they are claiming to be. For instance dadvet you say your son was killed in Somalia 15 years ago (my deepest respect for a true soldier). Yet you say your daughter is currently attending the Academy, a fairly large age gap to say the least, not to mention my concern for someone raised under your philosophies. However by far your most disturbing is your comment about the VT shootings. I fail to see how comparing unarmed college students being murdered so viciously can quite compare to the well-armed, well-trained, and prepared sailors and marines the Brits had, there is simply no comparison. As to you fusion, judging by your recent join date you specifically joined for this debate, which may mean you already have another account on CC that would reveal your true inadequacies. Gotta love this annonomous internet.
