<p>i know the poor guy she turned in. he’s a good kid in my company, and was out celebrating his 21st birthday. he did not lie about drinking and everyone noted his cooperation when she took it upon herself to bring him back to the hall and get him a breathalyzer. he was not causing any trouble or creating a scene: she just felt the need to turn him in. what did he get? 60 days restriction, while she got a personal commendation from the supe. </p>
<p>i mention this because the next week the entire brigade learned through the weekly flier on the table in king hall detailing recent XYZ cases that another mid had gotten wasted, returned to the hall, stumbled into a female mids room and groped her, then stumbled out and returned to his bed. his punishment? 60 days restriction, the exact same as the unfortunate youngster in my company. apparently, its the drinking that the administration cared about, not feeling up some poor sleeping girl. after myself and many of my companymates voiced our feelings about this disparity, the youngster’s restriction was cut down to 30 days. the whole thing makes me sick.</p>
