In the above info, it seemed nice the fee is annual… no concerns about multiple/long trips (except of course finding somebody to fill the specified slots).
My friends said that they leave a basket for the pet sitter, with some food (and wine) items and local information. A petsitter mentioned to them that there is sometimes also a small stipend, so they also leave some cash or local gift card.
Multiple neighbors, including one dog obsessed friend, who does dog shows, have been happy with the service!
After all the WONDERFUL tips, suggestions, etc. - change in plans! We are now going to DUBLIN (for a variety of reasons, not worth going into)! Any suggestions/info, especially surrounding lodging (guessing an Airbnb, apartment, etc. is best for family of 5 adults) is welcome! I so appreciate the collective wisdom/experience here! Oh, Dublin is lovely. We did a bus tour of Ireland starting there, and we regret not having more than just one night in Dublin. We’d like to go back, so I’ll be watching this thread (or a new one, if you want Dublin in title).
