<p>and this was answered on the NYU transfer admissions bulletin board regarding mid-year reports.</p>
<p>“When our Committee requests a mid-year grade report it is simply because they are seeking additional academic information on an applicant. This could be for a number of reasons. For instance, if you are in your first year of college your transcript will only reflect one semester of performance. Or, if there has been a dramatic improvement in your academic performance we may be looking to see if you are maintaining success in the classroom. Each mid-term grade report includes direct contact information for a Committee Member in our office so if you have specific questions about your candidacy we encourage you to contact them directly.”</p>
<p>also, considering the sternies that heard back the 2nd week of april, were they internal or external transfer students? because this question was also answered on the bulletin board.</p>
<p>“Transfer applicant admissions decisions are released on a rolling basis with internal transfers receiving notification beginning in April. External transfer decisions are usually released starting from about three to four weeks after the April 1st deadline.”</p>
