2007 Navy vs. Temple

Great start for the Blue and Gold! Thanks GA!

Could be worse, though. We could be traveling to Louisville…

YEAH!! Loved the video!
Thanks for posting the link!

GO NAVY!

BEAT ARMY!
And everyone else!

[I’m a Louisville grad, but due to dd, my blood is starting to turn to Navy Blue and Gold.] I’m also glad Navy doesn’t face Louisville. Their game was MUCH worse (for the other team) than the score (73-10) indicated. Louisville only played reserves after 1 minute of the 2nd half, and only threw 3 passes after halftime.

Indeed, we all love Navy … or should.

And my observations are 2:

 1. We can be very thankful for an opener vs. Temple. A great university founded on “acres of diamonds” with one of THE most awful football programs on the planet. A good USNA start and confidence builder for sure, but no cause to start crying Orange Bowl, yet.

Be so very thankful that indeed Louisville was neither the opening night gig, nor a regular season opponent. Neither would be pretty, despite our having the upper coaching hand. Louisville has moved uptown in the football rankings, at least for awhile.
