@Matt-haha. Movies have exact release times, big books and CDs have exact release times, and CB, one of the biggest releasers of the year, just does it at a random time (typically) on a random day.

“If Twifreaks get their midnight release, we should get ours!”

Great post, agreed.

I don’t understand this. I definitely got my scores last year at midnight, I wonder if there is a problem?

Actually, CB scores tests (at least AP Psych) In Kansas City. That’s where my teacher went, as she is a scorer. Not sure about the relevance of that to anything though. =P

But AP scores are shipped from Calif I believe. Why else are they always the ones to get it first?

I think a ton of people must have called at midnight because the line picked up but no recording played when I called at like 12:03. I’m guessing it was overwhelmed.

There are multiple grading sites.

@bubblegum-I think each subject gets graded in a different city.

6 hours have never seemed so long. Then again, if come 6 AM they aren’t up, I suspect a revolt led by CCers.

@fatal Last year they had been up for several days before July 1st.

I know that last year WH was in the SW (I think Arizona) and English was in West Palm Beach, FL

hmmm should i stay up until 5 am? i have job training at noon but that gives me 6 hours of sleep still

Bah, but these scores are IMPORTANT. Life-changing, even. Twifreaks can survive without their precious Ednerd and Fella.

I bet the guy that has to turn on the phone line ran into some traffic on the way there…

where did this “6 am” idea come from???

If the scores don’t come out on July 1, CB will lose a lot of money. That is, unless Edna’s already recorded a message explaining why they won’t be out on time this year. Either way, tons of money lost. Already, money has been lost. Look at all of the CCers who’ve gotten their scores via college portals. So it’s to their advantage to get the scores out as early as possible tomorrow morning.

^^^Yes I’m exaggerating a little
Don’t care

AP tests are graded around USA [AP Central - 2010 AP Reading Calendar](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Become an AP Reader – AP Central | College Board)

Ah yeah, that would make more sense. You don’t want AP Psych teachers to collide with AP Enviro or Chem teachers. That would just be chaos.

All these guesses on times just makes me want to stay up. I can’t sleep as it is, so staying up til 3am doesn’t seem that bad. What I don’t understand is if the people at CB arn’t working, how will scores go up? Stupid question right? It’s probably set to go off at some specific time…

The least they could do though is to put up a message letting us know wth is going on.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

CB stinks
