2011 Acceptances--Has anyone heard?

Hi - my D has been accepted for dance at BOCO - was wondering if anyone else can tell me whether they were admitted or what it is like there? Thanks very much!

@Lalarainy: If you are interested PM me and I will put you in touch with some students who are sophmores at BoCo in the MT program and one of them can probably put you in touch with friends who are specifically in the dance program there.

Boco’s dance program is world class. Here is a link to the dance page.

[Boston Conservatory - About the Dance Division](http://www.bostonconservatory.edu/s/940/indexNoImg.aspx?sid=940&gid=1&pgid=485)

I would also look at all the bios of the faculty. That is usually a good way to measure a program.

Thanks to Skwidjymom’s advice, we requested a scholarship when it wasn’t offered up front and it was awarded. We can now (barely) afford Boco and are thrilled that our son is able go. We also learned that you need to file the FAFSA to get a scholarship there, even if you are sure you don’t qualify for need-based assistance. Gotta love College Confidential!

Congratulations ^^^^^! That is info that everyone needs to know. You have to file a FAFSA for almost all scholarships, whether or not they are need based. Also be sure to re-file next year if it is renewable scholarship or you are in the running for any others. It is a good idea to fill out a FAFSA every year even if you are not aware of scholarships. That way if something comes up, it is all taken care of.
