2011 AP Reading Calendar

<p>For those of you that are interested, here’s the FR reading calendar for this year’s AP exams (all FR’s will be graded by June 18).</p>

<p>Also, the video on the left at the above link (called “A unique professional development opportunity”) shows a few scenes from an actual AP reading. For those who debate whether or not the pink booklets are scanned or shipped, you can see in those particular scenes that the booklets are shipped and are read by the readers in person.</p>

<p>Just curious, do they scan the MC part for a grade automatically after everyone’s answer sheet is sent to them?</p>

<p>^I’d think so.</p>

<p>I suppose it is still possible that they scan pen-written tests and read the original versions for pencil-written ones though.</p>

<p>^True, though I doubt CB wants to spend the time/money/effort to open each book and figure out how much is written in pen.</p>

English/History pen-required ones are scanned
Calculus/Physics/Comp Sci non pen-required ones are read out of the book</p>
