Do you get back your scores on anything w/the writing or anything or do you only get your 1-5 overall?

All you get is the score 1-5. Frustrating, right?

UGH. STUPID METHODISTS AND BAPTISTS.

I fuucked up.

That Q *****ed me up. I just went with Big Brown Bears Bouncing in Birmingham…if that was an answer…

I found the MC pretty straightforward. I ended up remembering all the small facts and “insignificant” people, but forget larger events.

DBQ: Nixon & Vietnam War, Nixon & China, Nixon vs. Communism, Watergate Scandal/Pentagon Papers. Done.

Slavery one: Bacon’s rebellion was the major thing they were looking for here I think… Other than that, there were geographic/social factors as well.

Immigration: Nativists early on, then switched to pro-western Europe and fear of south/east Europeans. Old vs. New Immigrants. Quotas and how they were changed to discriminate against people.

I think I did fairly well on this, tbh, especially since I don’t care about history much. I managed to BS my way to a 5 in WHAP and I honestly didn’t know crap to the point where I wonder how I had the balls to even show up to the exam. Hopefully, I 5ed this exam because I actually did quote a bit of prep and GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO STILL HAS AP EXAMS because I’m FINALLY done with all of mine :)

Hey guys, did any of you get Cotton Mather as one of the answers?

@ThaMan I wasn’t a hundred percent sure, but I put Cotton Mathers as well.

Well I thought I did fairly well on this exam.
Mc: Some of them I had trouble with. For the most part, I thought I did okay.
Dbq: the day before the exam, my teacher had a crash course of review over the chapters we didn’t get to. Nixon was one of the topics we covered. I used pretty much all the info I could including OPEC boycotts, and the pentagon papers. I’m hoping for a 6-8.
Fr#2: I had terrible disorganization. I wrote about the n/s differences, triangular trade, etc.
Fr#5: totally forgot what w.e.b dubois did and Booker t. Washington’s views. I elaborated on mlk and malcom X, black panthers/black nationalism. I’m hoping to get a 3-4 on that essay.
I’m aiming for a 4 on my exam. :)

Hey on the dbq I didn’t know too much about Nixon himself so for outside info I did a lot of stuff about how nixons stiff paralleled certain other specific events. Any idea how that’s looked upon!

Nixon wasn’t impeached…

Who the hell is Cotton Mathers?

For me:

MC: 62/80
DBQ: 5
FRQ (3): 7
FRQ (5): 7

^^Hopefully a 5!!!

whats the difference between form Q and form R?

^im not sure…does anyone know?

there will like be about a 13 to 14 point curve compared to last years set standards for a 3 4 or 5

how do you know bro? @jimmybimmy

In terms of credit, or… anything really

^In terms of credit, it depends on what school you’re planning to go to. At my state school, you get equal credit for any passing grade, but at higher tier schools, they usually only give credit for a 4 or a 5 (with more credits for a 5). You should go on the websites of the schools you’re interested in and find out what their AP policies are. I’d be happy with a 4 or 5; I’d be bummed with a 3 though, even if it is passing…

Cotton Mather was definitely during the Salem Witch Trials…so if you guys are talking about the question I’m thinking about it, it wasn’t him. He was dead by that time.

Cotton Mather was definitely not the correct answer.

i mentioned william lloyd garrison and marcus garvey in the first part of the slavery essay (5?) which is the wrong time period!! the 60s movement had alot of facts…mlk…sncc.sclc.malcom.freedom riders…etc but i messed up! what score would that get?? and though i had a good dbq ( in my mind)…i put that nixon was impeached…which in reality he resigned! how much off? the other essay (3) was a strong one in my opinion…jackson…fed vs anti…etc…please help! what score would i get for such mistakes! btw thought the mult choice was easy
