Wanted to share with you guys how “Glitterhairdye’s” I-Day went…

Her report time was 9:15… last group to go through. They did not have a name tag for her, No Ladies Sz 10 army boots, out of sports bras and swimsuit in the size she needed, and then when she got to Bancroft they had her in a Boys room. She only got to go to the bathroom once all day, she never got any food. At 6:15, after that awesome ceremony, she greeted me and her grandmother and aunt with the biggest smile and hug I have ever had. She had been transformed into a plebe and had Loved every minute of it. After our time together she could not get in formation fast enough and I would swear that when 6th Platoon yelled “6” “6” “6” we could hear her above the rest of the crowd! Then they marched away and I have never been more proud or felt more patriotic.

I promise all of you parents, mids and alumni that we have shared this journey with the past months that Lola will make you all proud and only do her best! :)

P.S. If anybody want to see Kodak Gallery of her adventure this past week (more importantly… THE HAIRCUT!!) send me a message and I will send a the link.
