end of thread i guess. way less than october’s 167 pages of debate.

except we never discussed the chlorophyll passage Not that anyone remembers the questions… I only remember “Why do the leaves change color” and there were two answer choices that were really ambiguity

^ We did discuss it. It’s not “other pigments are produced” since that always happens.

hischoolstudent–
I believe “evince” is what was paired with it. I remember considering this answer, but since the clerks were the ones doing the evincing, it didn’t make sense.

annoyingaakash12 end of thread i guess. way less than october’s 167 pages of debate.

^so does this mean that october’s was harder?

I thought it was supposed to be a more lenient curve this time around :(

^just because the thread wasn’t as long doesn’t mean the curve will be low. We will have to wait and see

still wondering about primary purpose of gma.
i think it still could be misunderstanding answer but who knows.

“Surmise…deeds” was correct because whatever the other plausible option was (something…accomplishments) was a bit extreme: accomplishments implies noble achievements, whereas deeds could be good or bad; they’re just actions.

I thought it was a misconception as well. The whole writing for cookies, Grandma seeking approval in her signature, the grandma saying “just write something interesting” seemed like it represented misconceptions about writing letters. Did the granddaughter really develop as a writer? I thought she just wrote. There wasn’t any indication of development to me. But you’re right, WHO KNOWS.

Well, I think according to CollegeBoard it was a stage of development as a writer. Cos like before the passage it stated how a published author wrote about her experience of writing letters for her grandmother. And in the beginning there was first that yearning to put more in the letters, then coming up with ideas and manipulating her writing style, and then the excitement of delving into the letter. Misconceptions about letters didn’t make sense really, cos I mean the girl kinda knew exactly what she was doing.

^ yes I can see exactly where you’re coming from. Both choices didn’t really fit IMO. We’ll just have to wait.

I don’t remember a question with the answer hardy and I’m freaking out!!! Does anybody remember the question and the other answer choices?

wow I just realized that I put the accomplishment choice, can someone explain to me why it is the surmise deeds other than accomplishments is too extreme

damn…
so far…
i got the resignation wrong -put resolve (seemed like the silence meant she has made up her mind)
i got the evanescence of beauty wrong (stupid error)
I got self-satisfied wrong (i put wary because it seemed like she was cautious)
i got the closing wrong (was direct contribution consensus? i put the one where she wanted a proper closing)
i got anomalous wrong (stupid error again, mixed up with amorphous)

-5 at least…damnnnnn im screwed
wanted a 750-800

also *** was the palatial question? i don’t remember what it was asking…might’ve gotten that wrong also

dw im at like a -4ish range too. i hated this CR. on practice tests i get like 2-3 wrong MAX, but this test was just a fail for me.

same here…

hey i don’t know if these questions have already been discussed:

for the ecotourism
what was the answer to the question “what would both authors agree about”
i didn’t know if it was “strict regulations are necessary” or “ecostourism can be harmful”

harmful…

ok, i think thats probably it,

also for satchel paige’s age story
how did both passages end?

i said “with a humorous anecdote”
