@jetlogic…I missed the call an had to come on here to figure out whT they would have said. They didn’t leave a voicemail which is strange

Agreed with naniwa. Please do confirm if they are coming out Monday morning if you get a call!

just got the call to my cell like 30 minutes ago. missed it, but they left a voicemail.

^congrats! Didn’t get the email either. Losing hope haha

so is this only for community college transfers and they are calling only them?

it is for community college students only.

Why does UCLA do this to us? Why dont they give us a dam date! Im soooooo tired of waiting! SINCE NOVEMBER PEOPLE! Sending us emails and calling us about scholarships just to tease us. who do they think they are?! LOL

Ok, I might be interpreting things into word choice but I submitted the application for the scholarship online and this sentence was included in the confirmation reply: “Good luck and we look forward to seeing you next fall.” Does this imply admission?

I just got a call! The woman told me the decisions will most likely be posted on Monday!

Got the call now too!

most likely, congratulations

Heyyy!! Did the Casey that called you guys say his last name? Did he have a really deep voice?

I got the call as well, and was told that the email is on the way. Do you guys think that this means that we’re going to be admitted?
A snippet of my conversation with the lady:

Lady: Hi, I just wanted to invite you to apply for the UCLA Alumni merit-based scholarship for community college transfer students.

Me: So… does this mean that I got in to the school?

Lady: Well, I can’t say that, but I can tell you that you should definitely apply for scholarships.

So… I’m taking this as a good sign??

I got the e-mail at 11:30 AM. But I didn’t receive a phone call yet.
