<p>la4eva - im a 3.6 history major, which is impacted. avg is like a 3.75ish, i cant remember the exact number.</p>

<li>i cant logon to myucla without getting automatically logged back out repeatedly</li>
<li>in that short but glorious hour i could apply for housing!! and now when i try it says “applications for fall 2011 are not yet available”</li>

<p>3.6 is not a low gpa and it’s close to the average admit for history which is around 40 some percent. I honestly believe this housing hack is a good indicator</p>

<p>I don’t really think this means anything because the only reason they have not released the applications it because they haven’t finished them. If they were finished they would have been released last week. People are trippin over this. Some people’s applications ARE complete and have been decided, some are not. People need to calm down.</p>

<p>Just because you see the “unsure of enrollment status” message doesn’t mean your rejected. It’s either your rejected or pending. All i’m saying is that if you see the message of "fall 2011 applications are not available yet, chances are your accepted. Does anyone agree with me?</p>

<p>I’m not discounting the housing thing, I just think there are other indicators that would be better. There are many people’s who can’t see their fin aid and can open the housing app. In the UCSD thread there were a bunch of people who could see the housing app and then didn’t get in on that last batch like predicted. Technically I feel like you can’t complete a housing until you SIR, which none of us have. So I think there is a flaw in the system.</p>

<p>I am the exact same way as you Mike… I wrote 1/3 of the alumni essays and can’t write the other two unless I know I am in. Feels like such a waste even though I have nothing else to do today…</p>
